They are non-shedding (hypo-allergenic), intelligent, loyal, and gentle hybrid breed dogs. Miniature Toy Schnoodles have the added advantage of being very small. An adult Miniature Toy Schnoodle can weigh from approximately 5 to 15 lbs, standing below knee height at approximately 6 to 12 inches tall.
Miniature Toy Schnoodles are also very trainable, making them an ideal small pet for families with limited space. As they are hybrids, Miniature Toy Schnoodles usually do not develop the frequent health problems commonly associated with pure-bred Schnauzers or Poodles.
Miniature Toy Schnoodles are simply smaller specimens of the normal Standard Schnoodle, which is a cross between a Standard Poodle and a Giant Schnauzer. They posses both the intelligence of a Poodle, with the affinity for companionship of a Schnauzer. Schnoodles have recently been recognized as a breed by the Dog Registry of America, and have since become a very popular pet. A few breeders are currently working on breeding a toy-sized Schnoodle.
